Jake Burden from Bradford, West Yorkshire UK.

Jake commenced his training at The Hammond School for Dance at the age of 13. At 16 he went onto train at Elmhurst School for Dance in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. During his time as a student he danced with Birmingham Royal Ballet in Petrushka, Firebird, Beauty and the Beast and Concerto. He performed at Windsor Castle for HRH Prince Charles.
At the end of his training Jake also appeared as a guest artist in Swan Lake for Boca Ballet Theatre in the USA.
After graduation he joined Magdeburg Ballett (Germany)Jake Burden IMG_1933
Where he danced Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, Troy Game, Graduation Ball, Giselle, Wuthering Heights, Manon, Cinderella, Tempus Fugit, Imagine and Heilig.
He then joined Leipzig Ballett (Germany) where he danced
Chaplin, Das Nebelungenlied, A Christmas Carol and Pax.
In 2014 Jake joined Singapore Dance Theatre and danced La Ventana,
Midnight Waltzes, Double Contrast, Schubert Symphony, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, 4Seasons, Bittersweet, Rubies, Allegro Brilliante, Theme and Variations, Fearful Symmetries, Zin, Don Quixote, Opus, The Winds of Zephyerus and Lambarena.
Jake has had great experiences dancing works by world renowned choreographers such as Fokine, MacMillan, Bournanville, Choo-San Goh, David Bintley, Cynthia Harvey, Nils Christe, Natalie Weir, Edwaard Liang, Val Caneperoli, Fransois Claus, Robert North, Sylvia Camarda, Gonzalo Galguera and Mario Schroder.
He has also appeared in musicals (Germany) such as, West Side story, Evita, Beauty and the Beast, Sunset Boulevard, Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady and Jekyll and Hyde. Jake was Dance Captain for many of the musicals.
Jake’s teaching experience includes ballet and jazz classes for DM Academy (UK) and during 2014/2015 he taught open ballet classes associated with Singapore Dance Theatre.
